ATLAS COPCO 400KVA GENERATOR COMPARISON

Atlas Copco provides three options for 400kVa diesel generators; the QAS, QES and QIS. The QAS 400kVa generator is a heavy duty industrial generator that is ideal for mobile applications and has been designed for use in modular power plants. The QES range offers a reliable portable power solution and a low cost of ownership. The QIS range combines low cost of ownership, reliable performance and risk-free operation.

QAS 400kVa Generator

Atlas Copco’s QAS 400kVa diesel generators are heavy duty industrial generators. These tough generators are ideal for use as a permanent source of power or can be moved regularly. These generators are easy and safe to move and maintain optimum performance levels even in harsh conditions. The QAS 400kVa generator is perfect for rental applications and heavy duty construction use.

Does the application load of your generator vary? Do you need prime power for long term projects on a remote site? Do you need a semi-permanent installation that can be upgraded or downgraded? A Modular Power Plant (or paralleling multiple generators) is the efficient solution if you answered yes to any of the above questions. Simply, this is a configuration of generators working together.

The QAS 40kVa generator has been developed for use as a modular power plant, thanks to their simple paralleling capability. The modular design focusses on being able to connect multiple generators in the simplest way – making an installation that optimizes efficiency. The built-in Power Management System (PMS) enables the optimisation of fuel consumption and expands the generators’ lifetime.

Atlas Copco developed a unique Power Management System (PMS). The PMS system enables the optimisation of fuel consumption and expands the generator’s lifetime. PMS manages the quantity of generators running in parallel with load demand, starting and stopping units in line with increases or decreases in load. In this way, the load on each generator remains at a level which optimises fuel consumption. It also eliminates the need for generators to run with low load levels, which can cause engine damage and shorten the life expectancy of the equipment.

QES 400kVa Generator

The QES 400kVa diesel generator offers a reliable solution combined with the low cost of ownership. These generators can easily be transported from site to site or used as a stationary prime power solution. They provide excellent performance with 2 clicks to power, less than 6 seconds to stable power, reduced noise, a spillage free frame and 500 hour service intervals.

Specifically developed for the construction and general rental industries, the QES range is easy to use and straightforward to maintain. It’s the practical predictable power choice, even for the most demanding worksites.

Options, such as manual oil drain pump, connection to an external fuel tank, site or road trailers, can be added to fully match your construction site needs. With the trailer option, QES generators can be easily moved around your site.

QIS 418kVa Generator

Atlas Copco QIS diesel generators combine low cost of ownership, reliable performance and risk-free operation.

From primary to critical backup power needs, these generators are designed for optimal performance in the most demanding conditions and all applications, from data centers and healthcare to manufacturing, utilities and retail. Thanks to its versatility and user-friendliness, it can be easily integrated into all your projects.

The QIS range is extremely versatile and can be used in standby, portable or stationary applications. These easy to use generators are designed and built to the very highest standards.
